UAE defeated Nepal by 6 wickets in the first match. Spin all-rounder Santosh Yadav is making his Twenty20 International debut from Nepal. Santosh, who has been included in the Nepali team for the first time, has been included in the playing 11 in the second Twenty20 International against the UAE. Santosh has been brought in in place of Bashir Ahmed.
Santosh opened the door for the Nepali team in the Twenty20 International after his impressive performance in the recent Prime Minister's Cup national cricket tournament. Santosh, who played with Devrehate, took 21 wickets and scored 265 runs in the Prime Minister's Cup.
