Ten Nepali athletes will compete in the IKF 22nd World Kempo Championship to be held in Turkey.

The 22nd World Kempo Championship is being held in Antalya, Turkey from Monday to April 26. Six men and four women from Nepal are competing in the championship. The Nepal Kempo Khukuri Federation team left for Turkey on Monday to participate in the championship. The Nepali team has left for Antalya under the leadership of Federation President Pavel Shah. In the women's semi-kempo category, Anjana Shahi will compete in the 50 kg weight category, Prisa Rajyalakshmi Shah in the 22 kg category, Aira Gautam in the 25 kg category, and Monalisa Dhami in the 35 kg category. Anjana will participate in kata and self-defense, while Ira will compete in kata.

In the men's semi-kempo category, Suresh Parajuli will compete in the 65 kg category, Sulabh Shrestha in the 30 kg category, and Kridix Bikram Kunwar in the 25 kg category. Dilman Lama will compete in the 25 kg full kempo, kata and self-defense categories. Yaman Pandey will compete in 5 categories in the 50 kg full kempo, semi kempo, submission, self-defense and kata, informed coach Anjana Shahi. Shivahari Rai will compete in the 55 kg weight group in semi kempo and full kempo. He will participate in kata and submission.
