Santoshi Shrestha has won the main event of the Kantipur Half Marathon, the 21.1-kilometer half marathon, again. She has won the Kantipur Half Marathon for the second time in a row.

Starting from Tinkune, where Kantipur's office is located, she completed the Kantipur Half Marathon, passing through Tinkune, Koteshwor, Jadibuti, Lokanthali, Gatthaghar, Thimi, Sallaghari, and ending at Jagati Chowk, Koteshwor, Tinkune in 1 hour 18.11 minutes.

She from Dhading had completed the race in 1 hour 23.28 minutes last year. Nisha Pal came second with 1 hour 18.26 minutes and Purnalakshmi Neupane came third with 1 hour 23.13 seconds. This time, about 4,000 runners participated in the Kantipur Half Marathon, of which more than 1,500 runners participated in the half marathon alone.
