The Army has stated that the trail run will start at 10 am on April 30. Khadga Bahadur Shrestha, a soldier of the Army's Hanuman Dhwaj Gulma, said, "The goal is to get as many players as possible to participate in this competition."

The competition is being held every year to increase the attraction of young people in the sports sector, to introduce Karnali as a potential area in terms of sports tourism, and to identify the talents of players. 

He said that this Rara Trail Run will strengthen civil-military relations. The Rara Trail Run will be held over a distance of 16 kilometers. 50 women and 200 men aged 18 to 45 years will participate. Along with this, there will also be a 5-kilometer run for fun for those aged 10 to 60 years. 

This time, the accommodation and catering of the players will be managed by hoteliers. Registration will be held from 15th to 29th of Baisakh. For this, you will have to contact Hanuman Dhoj Gulma Hutu. The players will undergo health tests by the morning of 29th and 30th of Baisakh. 

The Nepali Army will also organize a photo exhibition, Khukuri dance and cultural programs reflecting local culture. The first place winner in the competition will be awarded 50 thousand rupees, the second place 30 thousand rupees and the third place 20 thousand rupees along with a certificate, the Nepali Army has stated.
