The 25th National ITF Taekwondo Championship and the 2nd U-15 National School ITF Taekwondo Championship organized by the Nepal International Taekwondo Federation have begun at the Nakhep Covered Hall on Friday.
The competition will feature 5 categories including individual sparring, individual pattern, group sparring, group pattern and self-defense. 33 gold medals will be contested in the national category. 20 gold medals will be contested in the U-15 category.
On the first day, 6 gold medals have been decided in the national category for men and 5 for women. 17 gold medals have been decided in the U-15 category, including 10 for men and 7 for women. The competition will continue until Saturday.
The competition was inaugurated by Nakhep Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta.
