Forest beat Porto 1-0 in the quarter-final second leg to take a 2-1 lead on aggregate. Morgan Gibbs scored the decisive goal. Villa, on the other hand, beat Bologna 4-0 to take a 7-1 lead on aggregate. Braga and Freiburg will play in the other semi-final. Braga beat Real Betis 4-2 to take a 5-3 lead on aggregate. Freiburg, on the other hand, defeated Celta Vigo 3-1 to take a 6-1 lead.
