The outdoor swimming pool at the International Sports Complex in Satdobato has been operational for the general public since Wednesday.
The swimming pool was opened after the worship of Bhojananda Rai, the departmental head of the administration department under the National Sports Council (NSC). Devraj Katwal, the head of the supply and storage branch, and Leela Ram Basnet, the head of the International Sports Complex, were present on the occasion.
The swimming pool will be operated in three shifts every day, from 10 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 7 pm. The fee for the first and second shifts is Rs 200 and for the third shift is Rs 250. Special discounts have been arranged for senior citizens and differently abled people.
The outdoor pool, which is regularly closed during the winter, was closed since 10 Ashoja. The heated swimming pool located next to the outdoor pool has been operating regularly.
