Nepal Police Club Gandaki has entered the quarterfinals without playing a game on the second day, Wednesday, after the Buddha Youth Club in Bhoteodar was absent.

In the absence of Buddha Youth Club, Nepal Police Club Gandaki played a friendly match with the host Tourism Management Committee Smart Village Ghalegaon. Nepal Police Club defeated the host team 3-1 in the match.

The first match on Thursday will be played at Swargbhoomi Stadium at 9 am between NK Football Club Pokhara and the home team Triveni Youth Club Besisahar. The second match will be played between Bouddha Shanti Youth Club Ramghat Pokhara and Friendship Youth Club Tanahun, informed the match coordinator Sijan Shrestha.

The winner of the competition will receive Rs 800,000 along with a gold cup, medal and certificate. The runner-up will receive a medal and certificate along with Rs 500,000. The best player and highest goal scorer will each receive Rs 10,000. The organizer Tourism Management Committee, Smart Village Ghalegaun, has stated that a 'Man of the Match' will be announced in every match from the quarterfinals onwards and a trophy along with Rs 2,000 will be awarded. The organizer has stated that the prize money will be taxed.
