Katari Tiger Football Club Udayapur has won the U-13 National Football Tournament organized by The Ocean Club. Katari Tiger won the match between Narayangadh Football Club Chitwan and Katari Tiger Udayapur by a 1-0 goal difference. Katari Tiger received a cash prize of Rs 25,000, a running shield, trophy and medal. The tournament, held from Chaitra 27 to Tuesday at the artificial grass field in Gorkha Municipality-9, saw the participation of 12 teams in the U-13 age group from across the country. Similarly, Narayangadh Football Club, which came second, received a cash prize of Rs 15,000, a medal and a certificate. Similarly, Gorkha Football Club emerged victorious in the girls' category. Gorkha emerged victorious by defeating Ambassador Football Club Chitwan by a 3-1 goal difference in a penalty shootout.
Gorkha, which won the girls' category, received a cash prize of 15,000, while Chitwan, which came second, received a cash prize of 7,500. The competition was conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis. Similarly, fair play awards, best goalkeeper and talented players were also given awards.
