Nepal announced the final 14-member squad for the ICC Women's Challenge Trophy to be held in Rwanda under the captaincy of Indu Burma on Monday. Pooja Mahato is the vice-captain of the Nepali team.

Other players who will be included in the Nepali team are Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Ruby Podar, Kavita Joshi, Kavita Kunwar, Riya Sharma, Roma Thapa, Suman Bista, Anu Kadayat, Manisha Upadhyay, Rubina Chhetri and Rachana Chaudhary. Seemana KC, Soni Pakhrin, Sana Pravin and Savitra Dhami could not make it to the 18-member squad selected for the second round.

Nepal will compete in a double round-robin league against the United States, Vanuatu and Rwanda in the tournament to be held in Rwanda from April 18 to May 1. This is the first time the Nepali women's team is going to Rwanda to play.

Indu has returned to the national team from this tournament. Indu was out of action after sustaining an injury in the Women's T20 World Cup qualifier against Scotland in Kathmandu in January, which caused her to miss the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars in Bangkok, Thailand in February. Pooja replaced Indu as the captain of Nepal in Bangkok.
