Tribhuvan Army Club has reached the final of the Prime Minister's Cup (PM) Cricket Men's One-Day National Tournament after Sudurpaschim Province won by 56 runs against Nepal Police Club on Sunday. This has shattered Police's dream of a hat-trick of titles.

Even though the top-ranked Army is not playing in the field, it is certain to play the final. Army has 13 points with two games to play in the tournament currently being held in Madhesh Province. Sudurpaschim, which has played all 9 games, is in second place with 12 points. Police is in third place with 9 points from 8 games.

Madhesh Province is in fourth place with 9 points from 7 games. If Madhesh defeats Nepal APF Club and Police in their remaining two games, it will play the final with Army, otherwise the final will be between Army and Sudurpaschim. The top two teams will play the final after the 10 participating teams compete against each other in a round-robin format.
