The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has taken disciplinary action against cricketer Karan KC.

CAN has concluded that his comments on social media towards umpires were against the spirit of the game and has taken disciplinary action against him.

According to CAN spokesperson Chumbi Lama, KC has been banned for one match of the PM Cup and has also been fined 100 percent of his match fee.

Nepal Police Club player KC's comments on social media towards umpires were criticized while the Prime Minister's Cup One-Day National Cricket Tournament 2082 was underway.

CAN said that the decision was taken in coordination with stakeholders.

In a press release issued by CAN, it emphasized that the players should follow the spirit of the game and the code of conduct and warned them not to repeat such activities.
