Surendra Barma has won the title of the second Mr. Kapilvastu bodybuilding competition. The title of the competition organized by the Bodybuilding and Fitness Social Organization was won by 32-year-old Barma from Taulihawa on Saturday.
The competition was organized with the aim of highlighting the talents of local bodybuilding and motivating them to make their bodies healthy and attractive. He was presented with a trophy, certificate and cash of Rs 50,000 by the mayor of Shivraj Municipality Ajay Thapa. He is also the first Mr. Kapilvastu winner.
The bodybuilding competition was held in 4 categories: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg and 70 kg plus. The second Mr. Kapilvastu competition was held in the overall category by inviting the first place winner in each category.
Barma, who won the overall title in the 65 kg weight group, became the second Mr. Kapilvastu champion by winning the overall title. The first, second and third place winners in each category were awarded trophies and certificates worth Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
