The Police team emerged as the champions with 7 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. APF came second and Tribhuvan Army Club came third. APF won 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze while Army won 4 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.

Nepal Police Club has become the team champion of the 5th Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Memorial National Karate Tournament.

The Police team became the champion with 7 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze. APF came second and Tribhuvan Army Club came third. APF won 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze and Army won 4 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.

Police's Barsha Budha Magar and APF's Pradeep Baijali Magar were declared West Fighters. They received Rs 25,000 courtesy of Nepal Karate Federation Vice President Mahendra Bahadur Singh.

Koshi's Srijana Khulal and Sudurpaschim's Bishnu BK were declared Emerging Players. They received Arbaja's gi.

The team champion Police received Rs 150,000 along with a trophy, APF second got Rs 75,000 and Army third got Rs 35,000.

The finals of all 17 events were held at the Karate Academy in Satdobato on Saturday. Police's Rakesh Manandhar won the gold medal in the men's 50 kg category. Rakesh defeated Bamin Gurung of Gandaki Province 6-1 in the final. Gajendra Saud of Sudurpaschim Province and Sujan Tamang of Police Club won bronze medals. In the men's under 84 kg category, APF's Mohammad Sheikhu Alam defeated Krishna Budha Magar 7-0 in the final. Police's Suraj Rajbahak and Gandaki's Roshan Garanja won bronze medals.

In the women's under 68 kg category, Police's Ashika Rai defeated Army's Sampada KC 1-0 to win the gold medal. Lumbini's Rabina Gharti Magar and Bagmati's Urusha Pahari won bronze medals.

In the women's under 45 kg category, Police's Barsha Budha Magar won the gold medal. She defeated APF's Astha Luhar 9-0 in the final.  

Elon Shrestha in 55 kg, Anjali Maharjan of APF in women's under 50 kg, Min Bahadur Tamang of APF in men's under 60 kg, Priyanka Shahi of Army in women's under 55 kg, Pradeep Baijali of APF in men's under 67 kg, Pradeep Magar of APF, Nirupa Tamang Dong of Police in women's under 61 kg won gold medals.

Shivu Od of Army won the gold medal in men's under 75 kg, while Shraddha Thapa of Army won the gold medal in women's over 68 kg weight category. Tenzing Sherpa won the gold medal in men's 84 kg.  

Swanim Manandhar of Nepal Police Club and Sanumaya Thing of Tribhuvan Army Club have won the single kata championship.

Swanim has won the gold medal in men's single kata for the fourth time in a row. In the final, Swanim defeated Praveen Manandhar of Army.

The woman police has become the champion in women's team kata. Police defeated Army in the final. Bagmati and Sudurpaschim Provinces finished third. Police also became champions in the men's team kata. Army won silver, Bagmati and APF won bronze.
