Gulmi has won the title of the Chief Minister's Cup Men's Volleyball Tournament for the second time by defeating Nawalparasi in straight sets of 3-0. Last year's title was also won by Gulmi.
Gulmi defeated Nawalparasi in the first set by 25-15, in the second set by 25-13 and in the third set by 25-15. Gulmi has received a cash prize of Rs 100,000, a trophy and a medal along with the title, while Nawalparasi has received a cash prize of Rs 65,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate.
Rupandehi and Pyuthan came third and fourth in the competition, participating from 12 districts of Lumbini Province. Rupandehi defeated Pyuthan in a set of 3-1 to secure the third position. Rupandehi, who came third, received a cash prize of Rs 35,000 and Pyuthan, who came fourth, received a certificate along with a certificate.
