The third President's Cup-2082 football tournament has started in Ghalegaun, Kholasothar Rural Municipality-3, Lamjung from Friday.

In the first match of the men's football tournament organized at the Swargbhumi Stadium in Ghalegaun, Ward No. 9 Gilung defeated Ward No. 8 Ghamrang by a margin of 4-2 goals.

In a friendly match, the people's representative team defeated the staff team by a wide margin of 4-1 goals. The first goal was scored by the rural municipality chairman Surya Prasad Gurung on behalf of the people's representatives. The staff was led by Chief Administrative Officer Madhav Prasad Wagle.
