The jersey worn by the Nepali national hockey team has been unveiled.

National Sports Council (NSC) member Ramcharitra Mehta and Nepal Hockey Association President Anil Prasad Sharma jointly unveiled the jersey during a program organized at the Royal Tulip Hotel on Friday.

The Hockey Association has unveiled a red jersey for the men's team and a pink jersey for the women's team.

At the jersey unveiling program, NSC member secretary Mehta praised the association's work and expressed confidence that it would help promote the game of hockey.

Mehta said that NSC has been providing all possible support for the development of hockey and infrastructure construction.

Similarly, NSC general secretary Subarna Shrestha said that by unveiling the national team jersey, they have made a new start and that it will send a good message about the game of hockey in the coming days.

She also informed that she plans to find sponsors for the jersey in the coming days.

The Hockey Association has also made public the list of 26-26 players for the women's and men's national teams on Friday.

General Secretary Shrestha informed that the Hockey Association selected the national team based on their performance in the national hockey tournament held in Kathmandu last Falgun.
