The first official jersey of the Nepali national hockey team was unveiled on Friday.
National Sports Council NSK member Ramcharitra Mehta and Nepal Hockey Association President Anil Prasad Sharma jointly unveiled the hockey team jersey. The association has prepared red jerseys for the men's team and pink jerseys for the women's team.
Member Secretary Mehta praised the work of the Hockey Association in making the jersey and expressed confidence that it would help in promoting the game of hockey. He reminded that NSK has been providing necessary support for the development of the game of hockey and building infrastructure. Association General Secretary Subarna Shrestha said that the Hockey Association has started a new tradition by unveiling the national team jersey and hopes that it will send a good message about hockey. She said that there are plans to find sponsors for the jerseys in the coming days.
