Koshi Province has shown a poor performance in the Prime Minister's (PM) Cricket Cup Men's National Competition. Koshi Province has also lost its seventh match against Bagmati Province. In the PM Cup, Koshi Province is still tied with 1 point from the match that was canceled due to rain.

Bagmati defeated Koshi by 7 wickets in the match held at the proposed Ramjanaki Multi-Purpose International Stadium in Janakpur on Wednesday. Batting at the beginning of the match, Koshi could only score 98 runs after losing all their wickets in 28.2 overs.

Koshi's opening batsman Suman Shrestha was dismissed for 7 runs and Saib Haque for 2 runs. Batter Ankit KC then scored 19 runs in 26 balls. Other batsmen were Shivansh Bajgain who scored 10 off 12 balls, Suman Thapaliya who scored 21 off 42 balls, Ashish Rana Magar who scored 4 off 8 balls, Dipesh Kandel who scored 1, Roshan Sah who scored 18 runs, Bipin Kumar Mahato who scored 5 and Gyanendra Bahadur Shrestha who scored 2 runs. Koshi got 6 extra runs.

Bagmati Province captain Sandeep Lamichhane also bowled brilliantly against Koshi. He took the highest wickets, 5 for 32 runs in 7.3 overs. Another bowler, Region Dhakal, took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 5 overs, Pratish GC who took 1 for 20 runs in 6 overs and Ishan Pandey who took 1 wicket for 9 runs in 3 overs.

Chasing a small target in the one-day match, Bagmati Province achieved the victory by reaching 100 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 9 overs. Bagmati's opening batsman Rinjin Lama scored 17 runs in 16 balls, while Shubha Kansakar returned to the pavilion with 1 run. After that, the partnership of Vivek Rana Magar and Pratish GC, who came out to bat, helped Bagmati reach the winning target quickly.
