Star, who were invited to bat after losing the toss at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground, posted a strong total of 221 runs for the loss of all wickets in 41 overs and 2 balls. In which, Shubham Khanal contributed 60, Siddhartha Dhakal 57, Krishna Kunwar 21, Ranjit Maurya 16 and Ganesh Dhital 15 runs.
In the bowling, Butwal Youth’s Ajay Chaudhary took 4 wickets, Hilson Chhetri and Sampan Pathak took 2-2 wickets and Krishna Patel and Amrit Bhandari took 1-1 wickets.
In reply, Butwal Youth were all out in 27 overs and were limited to 110 runs. Star's Faizan Khan and Shubham Khanal took 2-2 wickets while Ganesh Dhital, Tul Bahadur Thapa, Shubham Pandey and Siddharth Dhakal took 1-1 wickets to stop Butwal Youth.
Butwal Youth's Krishna Patel scored 20, Sonu Mallah 17, Santosh Pariyar 16, Hilson Chhetri 12 and Pradeep Pella 10 runs. Shubham Khanal was named Player of the Match and received Rs 1,200.
