Army defeated Kirtipur Basketball Club by a score of 96-79 at the Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwor. The lead that Army built in two quarters was the basis for the victory. Army led 31-16 in the first and 27-13 in the second quarter and made the score 58-29 at halftime.

The third quarter ended in a draw of 23-23, while Kirtipur led 27-15 in the fourth quarter, but could not prevent Army from winning. Army's Simon Gurung scored the highest 20 points.

Meanwhile, Kirtipur's Lucky Maharjan scored 43 points alone. He became the player with the highest score in a single match in the league. He was declared the Player of the Match.
