Both matches of the Prime Minister's Cup (PM) Men's National Tournament on Saturday have been cancelled due to rain. Nepal APF Club and Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club and Gandaki Province have received 1 point each after no results were announced.

In the match shortened to 22 overs due to rain that continued till Saturday morning at the upper ground of Mulpani, Gandaki scored 103 runs against Police for the loss of 2 wickets in 18 overs. But then the match was called off due to rain again.

When the match was stopped, Arjun Kumal was playing on 34 and Deepak Dumre was playing on 32 runs. Arjun had hit 3 fours in 54 balls and 3 fours and 2 sixes in 12 balls. Sibrin Shrestha was out for 12 runs with 3 fours in 6 balls and Muskan Thapa was out for 17 runs with 3 fours in 37 balls. Police's Karan KC and Lalit Rajbanshi took 1 wicket each. 

The match between APF and Army at the Lower Mulpani ground was reduced to 20 overs due to rain, where APF, who came in to bat after losing the toss, scored 85 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 9.5 overs. Then the match was stopped due to rain again. Captain Rohit Poudel was unbeaten on 26 runs in 17 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six. Deepak Bohara was out for 18, Asif Sheikh for 21 runs in 13 balls, including 1 six, and Sandeep Jora for 11 runs in 7 balls, including 1 six. Army's Kushal Malla took 2 wickets and Bashir Ahmed took 1 wicket.

This is the second time that the match has been stopped due to rain in the tournament. In Janakpur, the match between Madhesh and Koshi Province was cancelled without even a toss, while in the match against Karnali, Lumbini Province scored 20 runs without loss in 7 overs. APF and Gandaki and Bagmati and Army will compete at the two grounds of Mulpani on Sunday.
