The final of the 18th edition of the Koshi Province Inter-municipal Ram Navami Cup Volleyball Tournament is being held at the Hile Sports Ground in Dhankuta today afternoon.
Bhojpur's Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality and Jhapa's Kankai Municipality will face each other in the final. In the semi-final match held under the tournament organized by the Hile Volleyball Club on Thursday, Ram Prasad defeated Dhankuta's Pakhribas Municipality and Jhapa's Kankai Municipality defeated Bhojpur's Shadananda Municipality to reach the final.
The final match will be held at 1 pm, according to the organizers. The winning team of the tournament will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 22,222. The runner-up will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 11,111.
Nine different municipalities from Koshi Province participated in the tournament. The volleyball tournament has been held in Hile since 2055 BS on Ram Navami.
