No. 1 Battalion Shree Antu Ilam has won first place in the Bahinipati Cup organized by the Armed Police Force Barah Bahini Headquarters Sunsari.
No. 37 Battalion Headquarters Sunsari has won second place in the competition held for 5 days under the professional activities of the Armed Police Organization. No. 4 Battalion Headquarters Inaruwa Sunsari has secured third place in the competition.
Shree Antu, who secured first place, has won a total of 29 medals including 13 gold, 10 bronze and 6 silver. No. 37 Battalion, which came in second, has won 19 medals including 9 gold, 6 bronze and 4 silver. No. 4 Battalion Sunsari has secured third place with 4 gold medals.
In the competition, various battalions and squads under the Bahini in Koshi Province competed in various disciplines of football, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, table tennis and athletics. A total of 320 players, including women and men, competed in these disciplines.
The competition was organized with the aim of improving the physical fitness, professional skills and competitive spirit of the members of the Armed Police Force, informed Senior Superintendent of the Armed Police Force Sudhir Jung Thapa.
The chief guest of the program and the commander of the Barah Bahini, Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Manish Thapa, and others distributed prizes to the winners of the competition.
