Four teams have qualified for the semi-finals of the Koshi Provincial Inter-municipal 18th Ram Navami Cup Volleyball Tournament in Hill on Wednesday. Sabhapokhari of Sankhuwasabha, Pakhribas of Dhankuta, Kankai of Jhapa and Shadananda Municipality of Bhojpur have won and reached the semi-finals.
At the Hill Sports Ground, Sabhapokhari defeated Mahalaxmi Municipality of Dhankuta by straight sets of 25-15, 25-17, 25-23. Pakhribas Municipality defeated Arun Rural Municipality of Bhojpur by 25-18, 25-19, 25-13, and Kankai defeated Aamchok Rural Municipality of Bhojpur by 21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 26-24. Shadananda won over Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality by 25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-14, 16-14. The semi-final match will be played on Thursday, informed club president Sanjeev Tamang.
