The 18th edition of the Ram Navami Cup Volleyball Tournament, held every year in Hill on the occasion of Ram Navami festival, will begin on Tuesday. The tournament will continue till Chaitra 13.
The winner will receive Rs 202,222 along with a trophy and the runner-up will receive Rs 101,111, said club president Sanjiv Tamang. The organizer Hill Volleyball Club has stated that all preparations including field, player, referee management have been completed. Nine different local levels of Koshi Province will participate in the tournament.
Teams from Pakhribas Municipality and Mahalaxmi Municipality of Dhankuta, Aamchowk, Arun, Ram Prasad Rai, Hatuwagadhi Municipality and Shadananda Municipality of Bhojpur, Sabhapokhari Municipality of Sankhuwasabha and Kankai Municipality of Jhapa will participate, informed President Tamang.
