Manchester United twice took the lead but failed to hold on as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday. United were under pressure after Harry Maguire was sent off late in the game.

United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes before Ryan Christie equalised. James Hill's own goal put United back in front, but Alli Junior Krupi equalised from the penalty spot.

The result left United third on 55 points. Bournemouth are 10th on 42. It was their fifth consecutive draw in the league and has weakened their chances of playing in Europe next season.
