Palpa's Step Volleyball Club has made a winning start in the National Women's Volleyball Competition held at TCN Chaur in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-10. The National Women's Volleyball Competition was held as part of the Second Major Sports, Agriculture and Tourism Festival.

Palpa defeated the host Makawanpur District Volleyball Association by 25-6, 25-21, 25-23. In the second match, Janshakti Yuva Club of Madhesh Province defeated Brother Future Sports Club of Koshi Province by 25-22, 11-25, 26-24, 26-24.

The winner will receive Rs 3 lakh, the runner-up Rs 2 lakh, and the semi-finalists will receive Rs 50,000 each. The category winners will also receive prizes.

Six teams are participating in the competition managed by Makawanpur District Volleyball Association and Keshav Lal Shrestha Memorial Foundation, Bagmati Province.
