JB Brugge, owned by a Nepali living in the US, signed former New Zealand batsman Colin Munro on Wednesday for the EU T20 in Belgium.

The 39-year-old left-handed Munro is known as a batsman who is suited to Twenty20s. Munro, who has played 1 Test and 57 ODIs for New Zealand, has more than 450 T20I appearances in all formats, including 6 centuries.

Brugge chief Utsav Sigdel said in a statement that the team is moving in the right direction as they were able to sign two experienced players before the draft. Brugge, which is affiliated with Nepal Premier League (NPL) franchise Janakpur Bolts (JB), has also signed South African Rossy van der Dussen.

It is reported that 18 Nepali players are in the draft for the EU T20 in Belgium.
