The NECOS 8th International Judo Competition, organized by the National Judo Association Nepal under the Nepal Sports Federation (NECOS), will be sponsored by B&T Trading Company Limited (Hokkaido, Japan).
The organizer's chairman Dharma Kumar Shrestha and B&Tika CEO Bishnu Giri signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at a press conference organized on Wednesday to inform about the competition. As per the agreement, B&T will provide 2 million Japanese yen to the organizer.
The competition includes 35 events, including cadet and junior. Under-18 cadets will compete in 21 events, including 11 for men and 10 for women. Juniors aged 18 to 21 will compete in 14 events, including 7 for men and women.
Players from provinces, districts, clubs, schools and dojos from Nepal will participate in the competition. Players from Bhutan and Bangladesh will participate in foreign countries. A total of 300 players from the three countries will participate, informed Chairman Shrestha.
