Nepali Uma Kung Fu player Sujan Kakshapati has won double gold in an international competition. Sujan won gold in two different categories at the Battle of Bavaria Martial Arts held in Regensburg, Germany.
According to Nepal Uma Kung Fu Association President Sanjit Kumar Rai, Sujan competed in Chinese Creative Forms and Traditional Forms with Weapons in the competition organized by the World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC).
Sujan scored 23.02 points in Chinese Creative Forms. There were 5 competitors in this competition. Sujan scored 22.58 points in Traditional Forms with Weapons, in which 7 players participated.
1,200 players from 10 countries, including Nepal, participated in the competition. Sujan is the silver medalist of the 7th National Uma Kung Fu Championship. He is returning home on Tuesday.
