KVC Hounds registered their first win in the Himalayan Java National Basketball League on Monday.

Hounds defeated Royal Sports by a score of 76-64 at the Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwor. Hounds led 24-12 in the first quarter. Royal showed signs of coming back into the game by winning the second quarter 23-16. However, Hounds won the third quarter 17-15 and the fourth quarter 19-14 to win the game. Hounds, who won their first win after three consecutive losses, have collected 5 points from 4 games.

Royal, who suffered their third loss, have also collected 5 points from 4 games. Hounds' Saurabh Shrestha scored the highest 21 points. He was declared the player of the match.
