United Vision Cricket Club (UVCC) and New Horizon Sports Club have entered the finals of the Campa Kohalpur Pride League (KPL) national T-20 cricket tournament.

UVCC defeated Kohalpur Sports Academy on Sunday and New Horizon defeated Brightland School to enter the finals. In the first match of the semi-final, Kohalpur Sports Academy won the toss and elected to bat. The academy managed to score 168 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Bhim Sarki scored the highest score of 74 runs in 42 balls for the team, while Bipin Rawal scored 20 runs in 26 balls and Siddharth Raj Shahi scored 14 runs unbeaten in 10 balls. Other batsmen could not add double figures. For United Vision Cricket Club, Akash Chand, Dinesh Adhikari and Santosh Yadav took 3 wickets each while Kamal Musalman took one wicket. Chasing a target of 169 runs set by Kohalpur Sports Academy, United Vision Cricket Club easily won by scoring 171 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 17.4 overs. For United, Deependra Singh Airi scored 83 runs off 42 balls and Arjun Saud scored an unbeaten 68 runs off 49 balls. For Kohalpur Sports Academy, Diwan Pun took 3 wickets. The other bowlers proved to be weak against the UVCC batsmen. Dipendra Singh Airi, who scored an unbeaten 83 runs off 42 balls to help UVCC win the match, was declared the 'Player of the Match'.

New Horizon Sports Club has entered the final by defeating Brightland School in the second semi-final. Brightland School, which won the toss and elected to bat, scored only 106 runs in 16.5 overs before being all out.

Tul Thapa scored the highest score of 44 runs off 22 balls for the team. Similarly, opener Vinod Bhadari scored 30 runs off 18 balls and Trirtaraj Das scored 13 runs off 18 balls. The other batters could not add double figures as New Horizon's bowlers dominated.

Prince Pal took the most wickets for New Horizon Sports Club for 3 wickets in 4 overs, giving away only 9 runs. Similarly, Kushal Malla and Suraj Khadka took 2/2 wickets each, while Bashir Ahmed and Alison Adhikari took 1/1 wicket each. 

Chasing a target of 107 runs set by Brightland, New Horizon Cricket Club easily achieved the target in 8.2 overs, losing 4 wickets.  Amar Mishra's aggressive opening half-century helped New Horizon defeat Brightland by 6 wickets. 

Amar Mishra scored 57 runs in 22 balls, Arif Khan scored 26 runs in 18 balls.  Similarly, Kamal Bista scored 8 runs in 4 balls and Dilsad Ali scored 4 runs unbeaten in 1 ball. 

On the bowling front, Brightland's Anmis Shahi, Sunil Shahi, Yuvraj Sharma and Sahab Alam took 1/1 wicket each.  Other bowlers, despite spending a lot of runs, remained wicketless. Prince Pal, who took 3 important wickets to help New Horizon win, was named 'Player of the Match'.

The final match will be played between United Vision Cricket Club and New Horizon Sports Club. The winning team of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 4 lakh and the runner-up will receive a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
