She received a diploma on child protection in football at a program organized at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday. FIFA launched the ‘Child Safeguarding’ program in 2024 with the aim of strengthening the protection of children in football and providing them with a safe environment. The program included online training modules, assessments and individual workshops.
Kripa represented Nepal at the program. Kripa is the daughter of the late Roopkaraj Sharma, a former captain of the national football team and FIFA referee.
She has pledged to do her best to provide a safe and supportive environment for children in football.
