Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts have registered their fourth consecutive victory in the Prime Minister's Cup Bagmati Province Men's Regional Cricket Tournament. Kathmandu defeated Chitwan by 5 wickets and Lalitpur defeated Nuwakot by 6 wickets in the match held on Friday.
These two teams have advanced to the finals with consecutive victories. After the 7 participating teams, including 6 from Bagmati Province and Tribhuvan University, competed in the round-robin league, the top two teams will play in the finals.
Opener Prashant Mahat scored 78 runs, but Chitwan, who won the toss and elected to bat, was all out for 225 runs in 46.2 overs. Prashant hit 7 fours and 2 sixes in 99 balls. Pawan Bahadur Thapa, who was in excellent form, scored 47 runs. He hit 6 fours in 62 balls.
