The 11th Ocean Cup U-13 National Football Tournament will be held from Chaitra 17 to Baisakh 1. 

The Ocean Club, the organizer of the football tournament, which will be held on an artificial grass field in Gorkha Municipality-9, informed this through a press conference on Wednesday. Twelve teams in the U-13 age group from across the country will participate in the tournament on the student side. 

Two teams from Gorkha and 10 teams from other districts will participate, said Ocean Club President Amit Khatri. AG 10 Academy Lalitpur, Social Welfare Sports Center Club Kathmandu, G&A Academy Kathmandu, Ghodaghodi Football Academy Kailali, Katari Tiger Football Club Udayapur, Nawajagruti Club Simara, Patihani Football Club Chiwatan, Narayangadh Football Club Chitwan, Star Sports Youth Club Chitwan and The Excelsior School Kathmandu will participate, he said.

Similarly, Hilly Fielders Gorkha and The Old Capital Mavi will represent Gorkha. There will be 39 teams in the competition, which will be conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis. The club has stated that there will be at least 5 matches between the participating teams. 

The first place winner in the competition will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with a running trophy, while the second place winner will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with a cash prize of 25,000 rupees. 

Similarly, fair play awards, best goalkeeper and talented players will also be awarded. It is estimated that the cost of conducting the competition will be 20 lakh 12 thousand 769.
