The Sunsari district cricket team has been announced for the Prime Minister's Cup National Men's Cricket Tournament. Bhupal Luintel has been given the responsibility of captain in the team announced by the Sunsari District Cricket Association on Sunday. According to the association, the team announced for the provincial-level selection of the tournament includes Gaurav Katwal, Prakash Karki, Sameer Timilsina, Akash Saraf, Region Mandal, Nitesh Regmi (wicketkeeper), Rohan Shah, Vikalp Acharya, Afan Tahir, Roshan Khatri (wicketkeeper), Kabiraj Ghimire, Sukul Shrestha, Ashish Mandal and Region Pandey.
Similarly, the association has stated that Raju Bishwakarma, Abhishek Sharma and Bipul Sah have been named as alternate players. Rajkumar Pradhan is the coach of the team and Tahir Hussain is the manager.
The Sunsari District Cricket Association congratulated the selected players and said that they expect them to perform excellently in the upcoming tournament and raise the prestige of the district.
