Dynamic Skate Club is organizing the Dynamic Cup Incline Skating Competition.
About 500 players will compete in the competition to be held next Saturday in various age groups for men and women, said the chairman of the Dynamic Club, Rojan Bhasima, at a press conference on Tuesday.
The competition, which is being organized under the coordination and support of the Nepal Skating and Skate Boarding Association, will also serve as a selection for the Roller Derby World Skate Championship to be held in Paraguay in October, informed the central chairman of the association, Achyut Khanal.
Chairman Khanal said that a separate selection competition for the national team for the World Skate will also be held on Saturday. The one-day competition will be played at the Kathmandu World School in Bhaktapur.
The competition, which will involve the participation of schools from Bagmati Province, will be held in the U-6, U-8, and U-12 categories.
The competition is expected to play a major role in promoting skating in Nepal and enhancing the talent of young players.
