Federico Valverde's second-half injury-time goal gave Real Madrid a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo in La Liga on Friday. The win took Real to 63 points from 27 games.
They are just one point behind leaders Barcelona, who have played a game less. Real had taken a first-half lead through Aurelien Chomeny. But Borja Iglesias equalised for Celta Vigo.
The win will be a welcome relief for Real, who have been struggling in the league. Celta Vigo are sixth on 40 points and are also in contention for European football next season.
