Player of the Match Captain Vidush Nepal scored 20, Dikshant Mishra scored 16 and Aarav Gupta scored 8 runs. Akshara's Hardik Neupane took a hat-trick, while Abhik Achhami took 2, captain Rijen Basnet and Lakshyajit Malla took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Akshara was bundled out for 61 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs. Rijen Basnet scored 22, Niol Raut scored 16 and Lakshyajit Malla scored 14. James' Vidus Nepal took 2 wickets, Subhan Shah, Pragav Pandey and Abir Lamichhane took 1 wicket each.
In the semi-finals on Saturday itself, Akshara defeated Vishwagyan by 8 wickets and James defeated Galaxy Public by 29 runs. James received a prize of Rs 50,000 and runner-up Akshara received Rs 25,000.
Akshara's Rejen Basnet was declared the Player of the Tournament. He received the Mountain Bike award. Galaxy's Mingma Tamang was chosen as the Best Batsman. He received a bat as a gift. James' Pragav Pandey, who became the best bowler, received a shoe award. The winner was awarded by Matrubhumi's coordinator Jayaram Adhikari and others.
