The fifth LA Inter-School Net Championship organized by Little Angels (LA) School ended on Friday.
The tournament, hosted by LA itself, saw the participation of 22 schools, including three community schools, in 5 games including football, futsal, volleyball, basketball and table tennis.
LA ‘A’ won the boys’ futsal title. LA defeated its own ‘B’ team 6-0 in the final. The winners’ Ayush Thapa was named best player, Ryan Moktan best goalkeeper and Pranab Bogati top scorer.
In boys’ football, Loyalty Academy won the trophy by defeating LA ‘A’ 2-1 in the final. Loyalty’s Sahil Rai was named best player and Samarpan Sedhain best goalkeeper. LA ‘A’s Smith Rawat was the top scorer.
Vaishnavi came first in boys’ volleyball. In the final, Vaishnavi defeated Mount Olive in straight sets of 25-20, 25-22. Vaishnavi's Rabin Nagari was named the best player.
Pushpasadan won the double title in basketball. In the boys' final, Pushpasadan defeated LA by a score of 27-17.
In the girls' title match, Pushpasadan registered an 18-15 victory over Gyanodaya. In the boys' final, Pushpasadan's Samrat Lama and in the girls' final, Pushpasadan's Nidhi Thagunna were named the 'Most Valuable Player'.
The winners were awarded by LA Director Rajesh Shrestha, Nepal Gymnastics Association General Secretary and LA Principal Mukunda Raj Sharma, among others.
