Nottingham Forest qualified for the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday.

Forest advanced to the next round after losing 2-1 to Fenerbahce in the second leg of the play-off, but leading 4-2 on aggregate.

Similarly, Stuttgart also managed to advance 4-2 on aggregate despite losing 1-0 to Celtic. The other teams that reached the last 16 from the play-off were Bologna, Celta Vigo, Ferencvaros, Genk, Lille and Panathinaikos.

The teams that reached the last 16 after finishing in the top eight at the end of the league stage are Lyon, Aston Villa, Midtjylland, Real Betis, Porto, Braga, Freiburg and Roma.
