Nagarjuna IT College wins the 4th BCA Cup

Nagarjuna College of IT emerged as the champion in the fourth BCA Cup Men's Inter-College Futsal Competition organized by DAV College.

The winning team received a prize of 150,000. Pascal National College was the runner-up and received a prize of 75,000. In the individual category, Rishabh Shrestha of Nagarjuna College was the best goalkeeper, while Shreyan Shrestha became the highest scorer. Awas Yonjan of Pascal National won the title of best player.  

28 teams from different colleges participated in the two-day competition. The competition was organized in collaboration with Whizzy Deviance and Cognito IT Club.

The program was presided over by DAV College President Anil Kedia. National football player Vikesh Kuthu awarded the winners at the program. 

Footballer Vikesh and President Kedia discussed the importance of sports for students studying IT. They said that physical activity is necessary for students who spend more time with technology.  

According to Shashibhushan Chaturvedi, Academic Head of DAV BSC/BCA, the objective of the competition is to promote friendship, collaboration and coordination among various BCA colleges. The competition was coordinated by BCA Program Head Sudeep Adhikari.
