Star Cricket Tournament is scheduled to be held on Falgun 30 for women's digital empowerment.

The organizer Idea Sports has fixed the date of Star Cricket Season-2 in a press conference held on Monday. The one-day cricket tournament will be held at Mulpani Cricket Ground. It is said that the general public will be allowed to enter it free of charge.

The organizer has stated that Star Cricket Season-2 is under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Pawan Raj Joshi, founder of the organizing committee, said that after the grand success of the first edition, they are ready to hold the second edition.

'After the grand success of the first edition, we are ready to hold the second edition,' he said, 'We believe that the second edition will encourage all film industry artists, players, media personalities, corporate and digital creators to come together on the same field through cricket and promote cricket as well as promote tourism. We try to connect cricket with entertainment, business and social responsibility.'

An agreement has been signed between Idea Sports Coordinator Joshi and Srishti Foundation President Srishti Karki at the press conference. Former Nepali national football team captain Anil Gurung also participated in the program.

The organizer has also collaborated with Srishti Foundation for the competition. It is hoped that the competition will educate, empower and encourage women in rural Nepal in information technology.

Eight teams will participate in the competition, which will be held in the T-10 format. Participants will be divided into two groups. After that, the semi-finals and final matches will be held, according to the organizer Idea Sports.

Each team will include Nepali celebrities, social media influencers, media workers and national players and cricketers.
