Abin Basyal and Karan Bot scored two goals each for Madi's victory and Pratik Chhetri scored one goal. Aditya Lamichhane scored one goal for Balmiki Shiksha Sadan.
The winner of the competition, Madi Secondary School, received Rs 10,000 in cash and sports equipment worth Rs 15,000, and the runner-up, Balmiki Shiksha Sadan, received Rs 10,000 in cash and sports equipment worth Rs 10,000, a trophy, medals and a certificate.
According to Secretary Poudel, Someshwor Secondary School was declared the most disciplined team of the competition. Abin Basyal, who scored five goals in the competition, became the top scorer.
The best goalkeeper was Ritik Shah, the best defender was Option Bot, the best striker was Karan Bot, the best midfielder was Abhishek Ghatane and the best player was Arpan Poudel of Balmiki Shiksha Sadan.
Twelve schools from Chitwan participated in the competition held at the Sundarbasti Sports Ground in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-14.
Club President Postraj Timilsina said that the past competitions have helped in identifying new players from the school level and mentioned that the competition has been continued. 'Since the establishment of the club, we have been conducting training and various activities to produce new players,' he said, 'The competition organized with the aim of linking sports with education has been fruitful.'
Earlier, the club had also provided coaching training to teachers. Bharatpur Metropolitan City Wards No. 14 and 22 have been the promoters in all editions.
