Twelve teams will participate in the boys' and eight teams will participate in the girls' competition, which will begin on Sunday.
Tejaswi Academy is set to hold the first Tejaswi Cup inter-school basketball tournament.
Tejaswi principal Thir Bahadur Basnet said at a press conference on Friday that 12 teams will participate in the boys' and 8 teams in the girls' teams in the competition starting Sunday.
Tejaswi basketball coach Dipesh Karki said that the boys will be divided into 4 groups and the girls will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis. The winner and runner-up of each boys' group will advance to the quarterfinals. The winner and runner-up of the girls' group will advance to the semifinals.
The games of the week-long competition will be played on the organizer's own court.
