Armed Police Club (APF) defeated Sankata Club by a 3-0 goal margin in the final semi-final of the ANFA Women's Championship held at Tharuhat Stadium, Gaighat, Udayapur on Thursday, securing a meeting with Tribhuvan Army Club in the final.

In the 10th minute of Thursday's match, Rashmi Kumari Ghising, wearing jersey number 19, scored the first goal. Two minutes later, Anita KC, wearing jersey number 15, scored.

APF managed to maintain a 2-0 lead in the first half, but Sankata could not score a goal in return. In the 42nd minute of the second half, APF's jersey number 12 Geeta Rana scored a goal to take the team to a 3-goal victory. Her goal became the last goal of the match.

Sankata, a team with foreign players, had put APF under pressure for some time in the second half. Sankata, who had performed well, had to settle for zero after failing to score several times. Manmaya Damai, wearing jersey number 2, was declared the Man of the Match of today's match.

The tournament is organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and co-organized by the District Football Association, Udayapur.
