The $20,000 prize money tournament under the UTR Pro Tennis Tour is Abhishek's first event of the season. Earlier, he competed in the PTT Phan Thiet in Vietnam in December.
Abhishek has played about a dozen and a half tournaments on this tour. He is aiming to start this season successfully by performing well in Bengaluru.
He is currently in Indonesia and will leave for Bengaluru on Wednesday.
