Sankata Club defeated Church Boys United 4-1 in the final quarterfinal match of the ANFA Women's Championship held at the Tharuhat Stadium in Gaighat, Udayapur on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals.

In the 39th minute of the game, Shukriya Mia, wearing jersey number 9, scored the first goal for Sankata. Immediately after that, Varsha Oli, wearing jersey number 10 of Church Boys, scored the first goal for the team and tied the match in the 43rd minute. Church Boys missed a golden opportunity from a penalty a minute before Sankata scored the first goal, and the two teams ended in a draw in the first half. Church Boys could not add any more goals in the second half. Sankata, on the other hand, managed to add three goals individually. Lucia Lelia Jose, wearing jersey number 7 of Sankata, scored a goal in the 70th minute. She added a goal in the 83rd minute. Purnima Rai, wearing jersey number 10, scored a goal in the 75th minute. She was declared the man of the match.

With today's game, all the quarterfinal matches have been completed and the match has entered the semifinals. Tomorrow's first semifinal will be between Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club.

Although the crowd at the stadium has decreased, the audience has responded that today's game has become the most interesting so far. The organizers claim that it will be more interesting and competitive from tomorrow. The organizers expect that the number of spectators will also increase from tomorrow.

In the competition in which ten teams have participated, 6 teams have been eliminated from the matches so far, including Gaighat Football Club, FC Real, Chhahari Youth Club, RS Resort, New Road Team and Church Boys. Sankata Club, which won on Tuesday, will face Persi Armed Police Club. 

The final will be held on the 9th. The competition is being organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and co-organized by the District Football Association, Udayapur.

The title winner will receive 750,000 rupees and the runner-up will receive 500,000 rupees, along with trophies, medals and certificates. The organizers have stated that the three best players will also be awarded 50,000 rupees each.
