Loyalty Academy is set to organize the 14th Loyalty Cup Inter-School Junior Football Tournament from Tuesday.
Loyalty Principal Birendra Kurumbang has said that 16 teams will participate in the competition. The participating teams will be divided into four groups and played on a league-cum-knockout basis. The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
Group ‘A’ includes Eastpole, Nepal Model, Kathmandu Valley and Jagat Mandir and Group ‘B’ includes Manjari, Ferryland, Loyalty ‘A’ and The Rising Star. Bramhakunj, Little Angels, Swastishree and Reliance are in Group ‘C’ and Loyalty ‘B’, Trijyoti, IRA and Genius are in Group ‘D’.
The matches of the competition, which will last until Falgun 8, will be held at the organizer’s ground in Mandikhatar. The title of the last edition was won by Little Angels.
